My Counselling Approach
Supportive, Person-Centred Therapy in Leominster and Hereford

I’m a person-centred counsellor, which means I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to support you in untangling your thoughts and feelings, helping you discover what's going on inside so that you can make empowered choices and become the best version of yourself.

Inspired by Carl Rogers' theory of person-centred therapy; I focus on truly listening and understanding your unique perspective – counselling is not about giving advice, but about helping you explore and understand your own life and feelings.

"The good life is a process, not a state of being.
It is a direction - not a destination.
"
Carl Rogers

What to expect

I offer flexible counselling options: online via video calls, over the phone, or in person at The Body Clinic in Leominster or The Fred Bulmer Centre in Hereford. Both easy to find and park.

In our first session, I’ll ask you some questions about yourself, what brought you to counselling, and what you're hoping to achieve. Above all, I provide a safe space where you are truly listened to and heard.

How much do I charge?

I offer a free 30-minute trial session, so you can see if we’re a good fit and if my approach feels right for you. Sessions are 50 minutes long, priced at £60, and I recommend meeting weekly for the best results - whether for a few sessions or longer-term support.

Concessions are available for those on low income.
